1. The ALpronto service

ALpronto is a software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform designed for short-term rental management in Portugal. The service includes, depending on the subscribed plan, features for booking management, lead pipeline, quotes, availability calendar, calendar synchronisation, and communication templates.

ALpronto is a management tool — it is not a booking distribution channel, does not sell accommodation to end guests, and does not intervene in the relationship between hosts and guests.

2. User account

To use ALpronto, you need to create an account with an email and password. You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
  • All activity that occurs under your account
  • Notifying us immediately in the event of unauthorised access: [email protected]

Each account is for individual use. You may not share the same account among multiple independent users. For teams, the Pro and Agency plans include multiple access (feature in development).

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with prior notice whenever possible.

3. Plans and payments

Prices are in euros and include VAT (where applicable). Subscriptions are monthly and renew automatically on the same date each month.

Merchant of Record — Polar

All transactions are processed and managed by Polar.sh (Polar Software Inc.), which acts as the Merchant of Record on behalf of ALpronto. This means that:

  • The invoice you receive is issued by Polar, not directly by ALpronto
  • The VAT and other tax obligations of the transaction are Polar's responsibility
  • Your credit card data is handled exclusively by Polar — ALpronto never sees or stores it
  • Support regarding payments, charges, and refunds can be directed to either ALpronto or Polar directly

By subscribing, you also accept Polar's Terms of Service and their Privacy Policy.

We reserve the right to change prices with 30 days' prior notice. Active subscriptions are not affected until the next renewal period.

4. Trial period

New accounts have free access to Pro plan features for 14 days, with no credit card required. During the trial, there is a limit of 10 bookings for testing purposes.

If the trial period ends without conversion to a paid plan, access to the app is suspended but data is retained for an additional 30 days. You can reactivate your account by subscribing to a plan at any time during those 30 days.

5. Cancellation and refunds

Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription at any time through the Polar customer portal (accessible via App → Account → Manage subscription). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the already-paid period — you continue to have access until the end of the current month.

Refunds

We do not offer pro-rata refunds for mid-month cancellations. However, if you experience severe technical issues that prevent you from using the service, contact us at [email protected] and we will review your case individually.

For subscriptions paid less than 48 hours ago, we offer a full refund upon request by email.

After cancellation

Your data remains available for export for 30 days after cancellation. After that period, it is permanently deleted (except records that the law requires us to retain).

6. Your data

Your data is yours. The bookings, leads, quotes, and configurations you enter in ALpronto belong exclusively to you. ALpronto acts as a data processor under the GDPR.

You can export your data at any time in JSON or CSV format via App → Account → Export data (feature available on Pro and Agency plans).

The processing of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy.

7. Acceptable use

By using ALpronto, you agree not to:

  • Use the service for illegal or fraudulent purposes
  • Enter guest data without a legal basis for processing
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to access the source code
  • Overload the servers with excessive automated requests
  • Share access to your account with unauthorised third parties
  • Scrape or automatically extract data from the service without authorisation

ALpronto is intended for short-term rental hosts and managers. Use for other purposes requires prior written authorisation.

8. Service availability

We strive to keep the service available 24/7, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. There may be scheduled maintenance periods (with prior notice) or unplanned downtime.

ALpronto runs on Cloudflare infrastructure, which has an uptime track record exceeding 99.9%. In the event of downtime exceeding 24 hours due to our fault, you may request a proportional credit for the affected period.

9. Limitation of liability

ALpronto is a management support tool. We are not responsible for:

  • Business decisions made based on platform data
  • Disputes between hosts and guests
  • Non-compliance with tax, legal, or regulatory obligations related to short-term rental operation
  • Data loss caused by user error
  • Unavailability of third-party platforms (Booking.com, Airbnb, etc.) affecting synchronisation

ALpronto's maximum liability to any user, for any cause, is limited to the amount paid for the service in the last 3 months.

10. Changes to the terms

We may update these Terms of Service periodically. Significant changes will be communicated by email with at least 30 days' prior notice. Continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

If you do not agree with the changes, you may cancel your account before the effective date without penalty.

11. Applicable law and jurisdiction

These Terms of Service are governed by Portuguese law. In the event of a dispute, the parties will attempt to resolve the matter amicably. If this is not possible, the courts of Lisbon shall have jurisdiction, without prejudice to consumer rights under applicable legislation.

For alternative consumer dispute resolution, you may contact the Lisbon Consumer Arbitration Centre: centroarbitragemlisboa.pt
